At BBB interactive, individualized instruction creates the optimum enviroment for learning. We break each crouching tiger class into smaller groups so your child gets all the one to one care he or she needs to feel great about class and to learn quickly.

To build a solid foundation we make sure your child graps each new idea and technique before we move on the the next concept.

All our excercises have been carefully designed to help develop hand -eye coordination and motor skills.

Your child’s confidence grows every time something new is learned! Training at BBB your child will be equipped to do his or her very best in school and life.

 

7 to 12 years

Weekdays: 5.00pm

Using innovative methods and just the right amount of fun, we teach our juniors life skills and physical skills that will benefit them now and as they grow into adults.

We emphasize non-violent conflict resolution and teach children to recognize and avoid lures and threats.

Our curriculum is made to ensure that children are prepared mentally and physically to neutralize physical threats.

Our certified instructors teaching methods have been designed to ensure that children learn quickly and retain what they learn: life skills, physical skills, non-violent conflict resolution, awareness of danger lures, threats, self-defence, and fun!

Our methods help children explore and understand conflict through role-play and other exercises.

 

TEENS

Weekdays: 5.00pm
Saturdays: 10.45am

BBB’s martial arts instruction for teens helps young adults manage the stresses of school and teenage life. Our classes are a haven for teens to have fun and be themselves while developing life skills and good judgement through mental and physical skill building exercises. The classes are fun- at the same time our students have a blast trying to do their best.

Our expectations are high and students rise to meet them at every challenge learning dedication, maturity, achievement, friendship, development and acceptance.

 

STRIKING

Striking (Thai/Kickbox):
Monday to Thursday: 6.00pm
Day Time: Tuesday and Thursday: 10.00am 
Saturday: 11.30am

Please note: The Wednesday class at 6pm is a live spar class and would not be suitable for beginners

Our program is a blend of Kickboxing, MMA and Thai boxing techniques.

 

Mixed Martial Arts

Whether you are an aspiring participant, fan, or martial arts student over 14 and looking to up your training level or just getting in the best shape possible, the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) class is for you. We put all the training you learn in our primary program (BJJ, Judo, Karate, TKD, Muay Thai, Boxing & Wrestling) into one class and teach how to transition from one discipline to the next.

We will help you become the most well rounded martial artist possible. Having earned Black Belt-level expertise in multiple martial arts disciplines, Kev Ayre has spent a lifetime honing his knowledge of martial arts. He has built relationships with martial arts practitioners to bring the best that martial arts offer to you. This class comprises all kinds of students – amateurs and pros, male and female – and we would love to have you join our family. Friendly enough to train, competitive enough to compete!

(No Gi is the term used in Brazlillian Jiu Jitsu which means without a traditional Uniform.)

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is a martial arts discipline indigenous to Brazil. It was founded and developed by the Gracie family. Carlos Gracie learned jiu-jitsu from a Japanese judoka named Maeda, who emigrated to Brazil. The art’s roots are from pre-war Kodokan Judo, western wrestling, and Maeda’s insights into combat.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu emphasises bringing an opponent to the ground and then employing grappling techniques to subdue the opponent. Students utilise holds, arm-locks, leg-locks, chokes, and strikes. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu takes full advantage of body geometry and leverage. This strategy can neutralise the advantage of larger and stronger opponents and those with superior striking abilities. Your coaches here at Burton On Trent hold Titles & medals at the British, European & World levels.

The BBB Challenge

This body transformation system is designed to make lasting changes to your health, well-being, and appearance. This is accomplished by combining our fitness program, nutrition counselling, and our trained BBB staff’s positive motivation.

Fitness

Our fitness program has been created to adjust for any fitness level with cardio and strength training throughout the class. Our BBB classes are taught by experienced trainers twice a week and for only 45 minutes long.

Nutrition

Our Nutritional plan is based on clean eating and whole foods. Our experienced BBB trainers will teach you how to create the right nutrition plan for you with the right foods at the right time and in the right amounts.

Motivation

Our goal at the BBB is to address every aspect of your fitness program, including supporting you. Through a positive environment, social networking, reinforcement from our experienced staff and peers, you will have the necessary tools to achieve your goals.
